This book is aimed at adults who either went undiagnosed as children or who have had ADHD since childhood. The book opens by explaining what ADHD is and how it manifests differently when people become adults. Therefore, some of those signs we look for in children will look different in adults. The author also go over some other conditions (like anxiety and depression) that often go hand in hand with ADHD, especially ADHD that has gone undiagnosed. The book also provides instruction on how to live successfully and thrive with ADHD. The book has a very positive tone which I appreciated. I think this is a must read if you or a loved one is living with ADHD.

I’ve seen a bad review from another customer, and I was undecided about whether to buy it, but I decided to give this book a shot, and I’m glad I did it.

The book is concise, gets straight to the point, and is not promising to change anyone’s life from day to night, but it has some good hints and helps put yourself on the right path.

I was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age, I always struggled with it, and I’ve looked for professional help and reading materials multiple times.

The content of this book is definitively familiar; I’ve addressed the same topics multiple times with my psychologist, but the way is structured and how everything is broken down into simple sentences and practical hints really help crystallize the concepts.

Unlike traditional workbooks, this contains both theory and exercises, and I really appreciate the mix. I find theory books quite boring and workbooks just a meaningless set of activities to be executed like a robot. With this mix, at least I know why I’m trying to do something, and at the same time, I don’t get bored reading chapters that are leading nowhere.

Some suggestions provided seem naive, but sometimes the most effective solution is naive. Not everything in this book works for me, but I found enough good tips that resonate with my situation to appreciate the value.

The online resources provided are not many, but they are helpful and good enough for what I need, especially the daily productivity planner. It is a nice extra for the price of the book.

In conclusion, if you struggle with ADHD like I do and are looking for ways to improve your daily life, I recommend giving this book a chance. You may find something that works for you too.

This is an excellent book, with many tips and suggestions that really helped.
I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2018, and since then, I’ve been trying to read as much as possible on the topic to understand better how I can live better with it.

This book is a good mix of exercises and theory, is well written, and full of valuable suggestions.

I didn’t finish it yet, but so far is helping, so I will keep going!

Having adhd can be difficult. Your brain works a lot differently than other people so easy things can be quite difficult. This book really helps you break down some of the difficult things into easier ways for your ADHD brain to process it. Making daily plans at night really helps. You can somewhat see how your day tomorrow is and it makes the morning so much easier.
